This is a work in progress, noted here first and foremost. I'm only at the stage of flat color, and I plan to do far, far more to this. I'm going to try to work on it this week, but nothing's certain, as I'll be out of town Sunday and Monday. If nothing else, I should have a little time off on the week of the 18th, as I'm helping my parents move for the first time in my life.

Anyway, this image is one you may have seen posted here before; it's almost been a year to the day, and I never dreamed I'd have the skill or ability to digitize this image in color. Look how far I've come! Not only is it in beautiful color, but it is complex and I'm going to go further with it. I count this an accomplishment.

Kaida's still a favorite. Unfortunately, I'm not currently writing her, which is a shame. She's a sweet little dragon...as long as her blade is sheathed. ^.^

I really adore what I've done so far (which is when I know it's good stuff -- when I'm totally in love with or awed by it), and I can't wait to do more, but I have church in the morning and although I'm taking a week off from singing, it wouldn't be good for me to be exhausted. Not going...just isn't an option for me. :)

	ocfernan: 09/04/2005 10:05 AM yay! new art! the strongest point for me is the flower pedal patterns throughout the picture. it enhances the pic quite a bit above just the figure. the only minor quip i have is that the edges of the eyes are showing through the hair which looks unnatural. so in summary this is really good! more more. it's been too long.

	lilytrindylle: 09/26/2005 3:39 PM O, you wouldn't believe how easy it was for me to disperse those petals, but also how very rewarding! I happen to agree with you -- it adds so much. Just wait until I have the time to finish it (in two months...?). ^.^ As for the eyes/hair dilemma, you'll find that a lot in anime and manga; I'm just going with it because it was too heartbreaking for me to hide my lines. My choice. ;) More...uh, well...kinda got some commission work to be doing, so...not yet. Gomen nasai. Thanks A! Are you paying? First class, please. ...Though are you sure you're not sending me to Japan? I have people waiting for me there.... Thanks Booker! :)
